calling and texting dublin

Hi I have a friend in Dublin and I know its expensive to call and text there can anyone tell me what network would be best to go with as i am sure texts from my virgin are classed as abroad when i text dublin, thanks

    hi there go with 3 and use there at home service ,just like beening with 3 uk ,I have found the network coverage v/good in Dublin,I have a 3 contract and go to Dublin a lot so find using your own moble and not paying to receive calls (so long as you are on 3 ire)and calling back home also video calling is great

    roaming on 3IRE is 3 like home so incoming is not chargeable
    SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe ;)
