It's a case of not having had them before (I think). I know I've had things like Intrepid, because there's a 100point newsletter to sign up for as well, and we chased our points.

I don't understand all of it though, because offers do seem to come up at different times for different people or not at all and without the reason of being duplicates. It could be due to your preferences.

I like to know how things work :D (of course that's often around the time you break them...)

Not too sure if this has been brought up before (probably) but I have just came across a major problem with the way that your jackpots work.

I have just staked 1000 piggy points on England to win the 6 Nations Championship.

At the time I placed the bet I have a potential win of 2892 points, as it stands I currently stand to win 2687. By the time the tournament comes to an end I will end up owing PB points!!

The competition states that the jackpot finishes on March 11th.

What is the point on closing a "bet" when over half the competition is over and there is more chance of a winner being predicted? Surely you are only lining yourselves up to lose more points by people betting late?

This also means that less anyone who bets early in the competition is likely to be stung by people betting later.

Why not stop betting at the kick off of the first match? That way everyone knows that once the game starts you have a set number of potential winnings as opposed to a dwindling number?

I appreciate that this isnt fixed odds betting, nor is it spread betting but to be in a position where your winnings are taken away by others after fronting up a stake surely goes against the moral idea behind betting?

And also they deduct 20% from your winnings??

Thanks PaleScene :), much of its a mystery to me. I'd never knew such things existed til I started reading MSE so often! trouble is now I'm getting addicted to freebies and everything, lol.

EVERYONE SHOULD BE ON PIGSBACK.COM. So if you're not, please go to it. Any bookmarks you have saved as .co.uk should be changed to .com. Over the next few days all other domains (.co.uk, .ie etc) will be changed to .com anyways...

Finally, any requests for the week to come? Any outstanding issues?

Where did you find that question, I've been searching the site (I don't click the links posted on here in case they're irish)
There is a forgotten, nay almost forbidden word which means more to me than any other. That word is England.

    £2 savers club 2014 No.32 - £104 (was £504)
  • Jules, According to Darragh we now can't get the irish links, it says 'error' or something similar!
