Well I had a very good morning :j

Stack of papers obtained for free.
Got The Dam Busters DVD and the 1st part of the Pocket History of the World guide.
Collected a Reese's bar at Tesco since I was passing.

A minor deviation away from today's offerings into SPAR.
SPAR? You ask!
SPAR I say. FLOUR I say.
If it's stocked they currently have 1.5kg bags of HOMEPRIDE for just 64p
That's "half-price" on the "normal" price (as per the offer flash) of £1.29 although the standard original SEL has it at £1.44
Anyway regulars to this thread should remember the Sun's Captain Crunch and some MOCs from last Thursday - YES, that's it - 20p OFF HOMEPRIDE.
6 bags purchased - 6 MOCs - 44p a bag. BARGAIN !!!

Back to today's freebies. There are FIVE Thornton's shops within 2 miles of home. You've guessed.... 5 boxes of chocolates - a WHOLE KILO - now waiting to be devoured.
Did anyone get anything other than the one advertised and shown in the pictures ?
I got 4 of those - 15 chocs / 195g packaged in the gold/bronze coloured box.
One store, getting them from boxes behind the counter, handed me a dark RED box - 15 chocs / 215g - "THE WINTER COLLECTION" flashed with a sticker "4 new chocolates"

So a very good haul altogether.

Regards the Thornton's vouchers and recording details etc., only 1 of my visits resulted in the purchase actually going through the till. The other 4 they just took it, put it to the side and handed over the chocs, then carried on and served the next customer.
