The original OP on HUKD got this offer by email, not via a posted letter and it wasn't specifically address to the OP. There is no mention of a personal offer number or an application form.

Just be careful with the times offers - I sent off 20 mastheads before Xmas for the £20 John Lewis vouchers and Im still battling to get it now!! I sent off the mast heads by recorded delivery and firstly realised they had printed a wrong postcode when the post office told me the postcode didnt exist, so had to ring them to get the correct one, then I didnt recieve the vouchers by the date they promised so tried to ring them and got passed from pillar to post and no one would help me. I then sent a recorded delivery letter of complaint about 3 weeks ago and had no response to that either - Im extremely disappointed with the Times. Not quite sure what else I can do :mad:

Hunting the free items from the shops was fun. Here is how I got on...

The prunes were out of stock, which I find surprising given that Holland & Barrett is a bit out of the way for most people and that they are prunes (not the most popular thing in the world). I think they just hid the stock.

Got the Thornton's chocolate but had to ask at the till as the only ones they had out was the gift-wrapped version. They had at least 1 1/2 big boxes behind the till, no fuss.

Also got the chocolate bar from Tesco. The single item confectionery is on the end of the aisle (where you have your back to the tills), and they only had 4 left when I got mine. It isn't very nice (has lots of peanuts) but it was free. Coupon scanned for the exact price of the item.

All in all, 2/3 isn't bad considering the papers were bought with MOCs and have MOCs inside. (2x £1 OK, 50p Express Sunday, 20p Express Monday, 45p Star Sunday.).

Now I can spend the rest of the day with something to read. :rotfl:
