I've just had myself a nice, relaxing, bubble bath with a cup of tea and Mrs Cleaver's Heat magazine for a spot of light reading (told you all I was meterosexual). Paris Hilton has a new column and I thought I'd share her views on the credit crunch in the grand tradition of sharing articles by intellectual economists on this board:

"It's really scary about the economy right now. So the way I'm playing my part in helping is doing a lot of shopping wherever I go. I think a way for people to get by in this economy and still be fashionable is to go to Topshop, because they have really cute clothes at great prices."

Now, this is her first ever column for Heat magazine but I think it's going to become a weekly event, so there's plenty of time for this to develop in to quantitve easing, macroeconomics, neolibralism and foreign exchange reserves.

You lot on here don't really strike me as Heat's target audience (especially the likes of Dopester, Amclusent and Asheron as I see them more as OK or Grazia's market demographic) but there are plenty of other interesting articles this week including a debate whether Jessica Simpson is 'fat' or 'curvy' (interestingly, 'untalented pile of sh*te' isn't an option), the fact that ripped jeans are very much back in for 2009 (which is good news in one way for me as I have a pair, but I've been wearing them for at least 6 years so I've looked like a member of Bon Jovi since 2003) and an interview with former Blue boy band member Duncan James where he reveals that his favourite TV snack is olives and some salted popcorn. Presumably not together, but tantalisingly the specifics are not revealed, so we may never know.

Oh my , funniest thread ive read in ages .. well since last week:rotfl:

Well seeing as she is so keen and eager to help the economy, she can give me a bit of her dosh and I will happily spend it in Topshop. :T
