Thanks I have just moved to Tiscali for the lot, broadband/line rental/calls.
Not bothered that it is sky though as it was a toss up for me whether I went with them or Tiscali, Tiscali won cos of the price.
I get the lot for £28 a month, so I hope it doesn't go up now, it was £32 amonth with sky.
but thanks for the heads up.
If it goes up I'll know why now.

Just a little shot in the dark but probably a good shot, have a look at Tiscali and Orange track record in customer service / connection & speed issues on forums like this and u will see they are similar ie match made in heaven.

Oh one more thing it will allow Orange to provide TV through Tiscali service and landline service through again Tiscali service. Hence can now provide broadband, telephone, tv, and mobile ie quad play which alot of these firms are aiming for lately.

& Orange Wholesale LLU through C&W where Orange/Wanadoo have no LLU exchanges & backhaul costs go to C&W Wholesale with BT aswell - Tiscali Wholesale's competitor is.....C&W, bring LLU inhouse as per Wanadoo, release the financial C&W strain, resell Wholesale while providing quadriple services under Orange brand = integration ( the many arms of Tiscali brands technical side will follow later ), marketing Orange & its non - MVNO operation to public on a wider scale than VirginMedia could dream of

then again VirginMedia are looking to extend thier adsl share, so Orange may be outbid by VM ( if they get regulatory authority - given VM cable & adsl will be against some competition rules by cornering the industry )

Orange has the advantage in competition commission stakes - it has not a cable division which + Tiscali adsl wholesale would monopolise Virgin as the largest ISP in the UK

Also Orange's mobile costs are not ruled by T-Mobile wholesale reselling to Virgin & yes Tiscali TV would replace the failed Orange TV pilot ( problems due to C&W/Wanadoo LLU structure & competition from Tiscali & BT's digital ip tv services made it not cost effective to compete on top due to LLU Wholesale costs from C&W )

Orange's main ISP based Digital TV competitor to what was Orange TV is Tiscali TV - inhouse & rebranded as all Tisc services will be - ORANGE
