Tesco Personal Finance Software; ONLY £2.00

Having used Quicken for many years, I was getting a bit twitchy about the lack of support in the UK from Intuit and the possibility that I might lose years of data if I didn't pay a huge amount for their updates. Having looked around at Freebies, many of them were only short trials or with an American bais, or they didn't do what I wanted. The Tesco package seemed to fit the bill and for only £10.00. BUT when I went to buy it today, it was only £2.00. Not a reduction or a special offer. It looks like the normal price. If anyone wants a 'try before you buy', I understand it's taken from Moneydance. This is an American package but does a 30-day trial download. then you have to pay $39.99. Makes £2 seem an even better bargain.

Some say he is a racist, others say he is a liar but the truth will always prevail...

    1. Thanks 456789 for your support. I did check carefully before posting and I couldn't see anywhere more appropriate than 'budgeting'.
    2. I don't understand why a site whose prime existence is to help and support others manages to attract a few such rude and arrogant people. Thank goodness they're in the minority.
    3. It can hardly be called a sales pitch anyway - at £2!
    4. Moneydance gives a free download trial where you can only enter manually up to 100 transactions. See http://moneydance.com/other. The way I work, that won't last me long. And a blog somewhere suggested that it won't converse with UK banks to download but I don't know whether that's correct or not.
