Well we have just bought house in Dunecht (complete in 6 weeks) (yay - very exciting), so that is 12 miles west of Aberdeen. Hopefully husband has an easy drive to Kintore and I am still job hunting.

Is driving from Westhill into town a busy road? The house seller said 30min drive at 8.30am into foresterhill.

I think it should be fine - hopefully!!

Thanks for all your input guys. I am looking forward to moving now.

Sorry to put a dampener on things but you will always be stuck in traffic jams in aberdeen - no matter where you live!

I live out Cove area and drive to Abdn Uni everyday without much issue or traffic trouble, I leave at about 8am get my gf to work before 8:30 (ARI) and then off to Abdn Uni and same on the way home I am usally at the Uni before 830 most days.

I live in Sauchen just west of Dunecht and my son goes to school in westhill. as long as you go along the lang stracht you should have no problems getting to foresterhill. we moved from cambridge in august and absolutely love it here. So enjoy its a beautiful part of the country to live.
