Im guessing you live in or around London from your post, so Ill mention a place called East Coast Salvage in Marks Tey, Essex just up the A12 near Colchester. Depsite their name, they dont only do salvage vehicles, but also repo and ex company cars at some good prices. They also have a bargain section for cars under £1000.
Just google East Coast Salvage for their webiste which lists all of the cars they currently have.
Good luck0 -
Pistonheads is a good site. The sellers on there in general are car enthusiats so have looked after them. Beware that some of them are bit unrealistic in terms of price tho.0

Just had a look on all of these and it seems autotrade is still the best option in terms of choice..if you guys have any others please do post on here..Cheers0

Have you looked at Gumtree? They seem to have a full section but beware of dodgy ads!0

They seem to have closed their margin now - they used to be really cheap but are now close to market value.
Can vouch for Gumtree, have had some success buying and selling here. And is exchange and mart still going? Autotrader is still my favourite medium for selling.Praying at the church of MSE should be compulsory!

I bought my car on ebay a few weeks ago, and would definately recommend it. And if you pay with paypal you are covered with buyer protection if there is a major problem with the car that had not been disclosed.0
