We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -

It's my daughter's 6th birthday on Tuesday and I'll be up in Chorley all day.
Then it's my Dad's birthday on the 14th
then my hubby's birthday on the 15th.

Does anyone know if there has been any progress on the bank charges test case yet?
As I remember we were waiting for the OFT to make a final decision which was expected to be in early Feb.
I can see them delaying the whole thing until the banks are stable though.

22 January 09. FSA waiver extended for a further six months
The FSA announced this morning it's extending the current bank charges waiver by a further six months meaning the hold has now been in place for a year and a half with still no end in sight.
My thoughts....I bet this is because they know that if banks are forced to refund these charges in the current financial climate, they'd all be screwed.
Next Key Date
Decisions expected from the Court of Appeal and OFT
We're now waiting for a decision from the Court of Appeal on whether it thinks charges can be subject to fairness rules and for the OFT to decide whether it thinks bank charges are actually unfair. As always news will be in the weekly e-mail.
