Hi BB, come on chin up. Why only a few hours in Manchester?

It's on the Manc thread Lenny - basically, there is a surprise party for my OH's sister and BiL about 45 minutes away on the train - that night!. I know I was invited by them but he is being resistant to be being welcome.. I am torn between wanting to go because I know i've been invited, wanting to stay with you lot all evening and wanting to go because I know he isn't keen on me being there......

And skint.............ooh, a bit of pampering!!! That is real luxury!!!!

You can do highstreet web and kelkoo searches on quidco daily which would be 13p a day.
Don't think any of the supermarkets give you cashback on shopping.

There's a thread somewhere by Eagerlearner that will tell all!

If you go through http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/ you get ipoints. Does that count?

I know.........it's bad isn't it.......where the water from the rain had gone down the driveway and gathered before it started to snow, there are just big areas of ice _pale_ The sun is bright and the road is starting to clear, but I dread to think what it will be like in the park etc. I could do with some shoes with a bit of grip on them - canvas slip on shoes ain't good in February in the snow

You need crimpons and an ice pic today BB, all the snow fell off our house roof several times yesterday as there was so much and was in a huge pile outside the front door...its rock solid and no chance of it melting as the sun doesn't get that low down in winter.

I thought about getting some of them a few weeks back. I'm sure I saw something similar on TV when I was flicking through the channels....it was when it was freezing a month ago and I thought - nah, I won't need them again this winter

Well they should last more than one winter. And may help if you ever venture up to the cold-blasted north. i.e. London.

These are the ones my daughter has just bought for me BB. She got them from QVC and I think theyr were slightly cheaper than those.

Of course since I have had them, we haven't had any snow or ice so I can't confirm if they are any good, but there were a lot of good reviews on QVC.
