    ooooooooooh, what's happened Snags?
XOH came down to pick the kids up, acting all weird and snappy. I bit my tongue really well but eventually it wound me up and I asked him what the hell was wrong with him. He snapped back that he's had a car crash (not a bad one, otherwise I would be being more sympathetic here), and then proceeded to rant about it not being his fault (despite the fact he hit a parked car).

!!!!!! - how was I supposed to know that? And in what way is it my fault???

it isn't your fault Snags. He probably needed someone to sound off to and unfortunately, he probably still sees you as the 'easiest' person to offload on.

When he comes back, I bet he will apologise.

Until then, yeah, he's a ninky nonk ;)

If he'd come in and said 'I've had a bump in the car', I'd have given him a hug and been nice to him. Instead we've been at each others throats all evening. Silly sod.

Had it just happened? He was maybe just a bit shaken up by it and you were the first person he had spoken to so you got the brunt of it. Not an excuse though I know, and hopefully he will apologise!

Yes, I think it had just happened on the way to my house. I really feel sorry for him because it's easily done in this weather. Thankfully it happened in his own car and not the works van. This will just put his insurance premium up, the other could have lost him his job. I WOULD have been really sympathetic, if he had just told me!

I'm expecting tantrums on Monday. OH has to start jury service and he detests being told he has to be somewhere at a set time to do a set thing if he doesn't want to do it, particularly anything 'authority' related.

He has threatened every silly excuse in the book when he gets in there, but as I said if they make Frank Gallagher (Shameless!) go onto a jury, they'll make him!!!!

Hi Maz, I'm in a wee town/village between Aberdeen and Inverurie, don't want to name it in case anyone knows me! Haha! I can PM you though. Where abouts are you?
