No i can't given the amount they had around exeter. Mind you we have now had around 4 inches of snow this morning and friend just phoned me up (she works 18 miles away) and they havent had any, just grey and a bit damp. Seems to be easing up a bit now, shame DD's waterproofs and wellies are at a friends house and no way of getting to them out in the sticks we could have gone sledging laterI'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. !!!!!! happened to the weather in Poole this morning!!
Went to a meeting at 9.30 and the room didn't have an eye level window...raining a bit......quick break at 10.45 and there are a few flakes, tiny powder covering on car rooves in the car park......12pm someone comes in.......we're looking to close and everyone wants to go home!!
WE all went 'huuuhhh? ' as we couldn't see anything - went to look - about 3 inches of snow had fallen - full scale blizzard!!!!!
So, Poole is at a standstill, no roads are gritted and it's slush city. Took me 15 minutes to do the 1 mile back to my house and did a huge wheel spin up the driveway struggling to get to the top!!!

Why is it men never grow out of the boyish toilet humour thing?

Well my laptop that came back yesterday has died again....not a happy Pooky I can tell you....I've also got a splitting sinusy headache and can't stop sneezing....so that's one day of feeling ok before this fluy thing strikes again....pah.
DD1 is supposed to be going on a weeks trip to Wales on sunday, with the school, one of these adventure trips....bit worried about the snow and how she'll cope with the cold...she's still my baby, even if she is 13."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -

I went to see Charlie, which in itself took an age as the main road is closed - 10 minutes to do under a mile! I managed to get to his house without slipping - I have smooth souled shoes on  Let him out the back for 5 minutes but he didn't want to even play ball out there (sensible dog!)- no way was I going on a walk with him - apart from me probably breaking something, the roads are all just jammed solid.
Am home now and don't need to go out until at least 4pm tomorrow.
Invigilating was fine. Finished at 9, my mind had lots of very dull thoughts in the 3 hours the exam took!!!
