ive got it in my transit, even when you floor it in the snow the wheels will spin for a second then traction control comes on and reduces the engine revs regardless of how hard you press the accelerator.
in my van it can be switched off but automatically comes back on when you hit 38 mph. so it cant be permenantly off.
it is good, but it could make you a lazy driver.

So, how's it been going commando under your kilt in this weather then?
I expected you to at least tut at us southerners....
I got into work every day before you start ..it wasn't easy, due to local council policy of not gritting on Sunday evenings... and we got hit by snow early hours on Monday ..

its been ok here since tuesday, just been cold and icy. so the thermal kilt has been on all week.
i have been tutting on another thread somewhere about you soft southerners. i just cant beleive the amount of media coverage its been getting, the news must be really slow these days, i mean why spend so much time reporting on something that everyone can see?...work permit granted!0 -

I can't stand to have the news on - its weather constantly and all you have to do is get up and get on with it.

Here we are blaming everyone about to much snow and not enough being done. For many years I have carried snow socks and snow chains in my car why can't we as drivers prepare ourselves for this rather than get stuck get some socks!0
