We stayed in a fab wee B&B - The Briers - just outside Newcastle which was lovely ..... it is family run and were quite happy to accommodate us and our brood (3)...... When the children went to sleep we sat in the comfy lounge and the owner told us to bring a bottle of wine with us and she left out glasses etc. We were just around the corrider from the bedroom so knew the kids were safe.0

We stayed here http://www.clementcottage.com/
a few years ago. My daughter was just over a year and we were provided with a travel cot. We were also offered high chair, bed rail and possibly safety gate. The location is beautiful and the owners were wonderfully helpful. We had no recommendations other than the Discover NI write up, but I would recommend it to anyone. It is big, clean and didn't cost the earth for the weekend.0 -

Oh the memories! My then bf (now dh) and I stayed in the Railway about 10 years ago, we got the last room available and soon discovered why. The room was directly above the bar and we were fairly certain the speaker for the entertainment (man with guitar singing) was right below the bed. We listened to that man singing until about 1 in the morning......We ended up joining in! But the breakfast was gorgeous!Norn Iron Club member 273:beer:0
