Going to Disneyland Paris - any tips guys?

Hi there, I am going to Disneyland Paris with my three daughters and other members of my family at the end of April. I will be staying at the Disneyland hotel (pink palace as my mum calls it!). I was just wondering if you have any tips for me regarding things to do while we're there (things not to miss etc). Or if there is anything we need to be aware of. I am particularly interested in where people ate and cost (we are not big meat eaters) as i am aware that this is going to take up a big chunk of our holiday money and don't want to eat in Mcd's everyday!!! This is a once in a lifetime holiday for us and we really want to enjoy it. Thanks guys.

We had a nightmare being veggies. Even askied in french if they could make us a sarnie without meat or fish and we were shooed away.
Ended up with chips from McDonalds most days!I haven't got one!0 -
Being veggies we always stock up on food from a supermarket and find a quiet spot in the sun to eat.
This is obvioulsy not encouraged by Disneyland but there are a few out of the way spots where you can sit with the other like minded eaters (many French).
Also if you haven't got your tickets yet try the other entrance I think its called Chessy it has a train station attached. If you arrive there around 10am and hang around you can usually pick up tickets at a big discount.
This is from people with say 3 day tickets with one day left.We ended up paying £50 for 2 adults and one child for 2 days yes a saving of almost £150 on the full price. This year when we go we are going to buy even more and sell them on ebay so hopefully it will not cost us anything for entrance :-)0 -
Take a look at http://www.dlpfoodguide.com/, it's a good review site of all the eateries!
Eating out is expensive, we try to eat at the All you can eat restaurants ie Plaza Gardens, Lucky Nugget, Billy bobs, as you do get better value for money. Last year these were on average 25 - 30 euros per person, but with breakfast, an all you can eat meal and a snack you can get through the day. If you eat at fast food places you'll end up eating dinner and tea and paying twice as much. Mcdonalds is in the village so isn't convenient to pop into mid day, we don't use it any more as out last visit there was a hours wait to be served, no fun with kids!
As to your visit, just do everything! It's fantastic we've been 6 times and will no doubt return later this year!

Hi
It is really worth eating at Cafe Mickey one night as there are visits from many of the characters and you often get an impromtu floor show. You can buy meal deal passes as well, at a fixed price.
Get a train from the entrance, 5 mins up the line, to Val D'Europe where there is a hypermarket, restaurants, designer shopping village and a sealife centre.
Stock up there on drinks etc as they are expensive in the park.
I presume that you have tickets but, if not, get them from the Disney store here as they are cheaper.
Have a great time!0 -
