whats the rules ???

couldn't decide where to put this so I've put it here if its the wrong place then please forgive me and feel free to move it
I was just wondering what the rules are regarding advertising items to sell ?
I have a lot of new bits and bobs some from a previous business that didn't do too well and some that I've collected over the years and never used.
I'm not looking to make a profit far from it I'll probably make a loss but I would like someone to get use out of them and in return I could make a couple of pounds
I'm thinking of pricing them not more than a £1 per item plus postage
was thinking of putting them in a clearance bit on my website but didn't know if I was allowed to advertise my website on here
like I said I'm not in it to make lots of money , just make a few pounds to put in my savings pot and if some one can make use of a bargain I'll just be grateful to get rid of it lol

I suppose one way round it would be if anyone is interested they can pm me then I can let you know what I've got and post on my website
what does anyone think

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: For legal reasons I have to discourage swapping, buying and selling on the forum (please see this rule). While it can be a very useful way of saving money it relies on a certain amount of trust between members and as such can cause problems (and has in the past). If you have any questions about this policy please email abuse@moneysavingexpert.com.
