Mr GG, it's nothing to do with the fact that jacklink is an NRPP and more to do with the fact that she is a liar and fantasist that makes her contribution on the board on the whole unwelcome.

This is a person who claimed she had no children and then said she did. Most of the threads she starts on this board are of troll factor.

Be under no illusion that she is a poor NRPP who is hard done by because of her status on this board.

I know, I seem to remember she went for me once.

  • wow... wot the hell have i started.... i would just like to say that the reason that i come onto this site is because i get answers to my questions..
the last thing i want is get around the system i just want to know where we stand and that everything from both sides is being done properly... i think that i might have a much better understanding of the system and that is purely thru sites like this and not the csa website... which is rubbish.

as a nrpp i do not like the comment that i do not care about his child and that i sud understand that he has previous commitments to his ex.....
i care very much about my husbands child and i believe that he sud contribute to his upbringing... but i believe that he sud pay 1/2 not 2/3.....
and therefore i need to know that ALL info is being passed on...

Again please do not fight and thank you all very very much for your help it is very much appreicated!

He will pay in accordance to his income - if the PWC has assessable income (under CS1) then the assessment will be reduced accordingly - if not, then he will pay more - as would be the case if they were living together.

So, in answer to your original question - they will not assume any half of living costs at this stage. HOwever, if you earn more than he, then the ex may apply for a departure on the grounds that you can contribute towards the housing costs and this may then increase the assessment. If you do not work, work very low hours and have children in your household then by refusing to provide your details, you are missing out on a potential discount on the assessment. By the sounds of things however, I doubt you would qualify (as you work full-time), so the assessment will be the full amount anyway - whether you provide the details or not. It becomes relevant if the PWC applies for a departure - she hasn't yet and may never do, but it is just to warn you that she could - you can also apply if she has assessable income and a partner - it works both ways!! If you don't supply the details of your income then, then the CSA can assume ANYTHING up to 100% of the housing costs be apportioned to you - but if you do provide the info, then they will be apportioned directly in line with what you earn.

please help - at this stage your income is only being used to check if the amount your partner is assessed to pay is actually affordable from the total household income, if it isn't then his assessment would recduce to what is affordable.

When you get the assessment, check the last part of the calculation to see if your usual income would make a difference - sorry cannot give you the exact answer in pounds.

If you are worse off due to the average pay used for you, you can appeal, but do bear in mind what Kellogs has mentioned over a potential departure for housing application.
