i'll be saving against my loans this time next year - got a couple of other debts to hit first. I can't wait till i can see them go down quicker.
the grass is very scary, OH has done a bit of levelling as it's a lawn with a more than gentle slope but the only green stuff isn't attached to roots at them moment so it's not looking too hopeful.

    Update for me!

    This weeks teas:

    Sunday - Saturday
[strike]1; Meatballs for lunch - chips and bread and butter for tea[/strike]
[STRIKE]2; Turkey curry, rice and wee pitta, salad (or stir fry will check the beansprouts in fridge see how rank they are)[/STRIKE] Home made soup to begin with and oldish but saved in a bag tortilla chips with left over salsa/guacamole/humus
3; Shepherds pie, neeps and carrots
    4;Pie surprise tatties and sweetcorn
5;Pasta carbonara probably with garlic bread and baked tatties
6; DS and DD on sleepover so prob beans on toast or leftovers
    7; HM Pizza

Anyway that's the cunning plan - only have 2 weeks of lodger dude left who I have to cook for - so attempting to not buy anything new hopefully until almost the end of the month as we have heaps to use up. May keep to toppig up the reduced bread, cheese and bits until its time for a monthly/meat box delivery from local guy I got in touch with.

You can tell I have been readin Mbaz feed family for £20 quid can't you?

Hi Fay - hmmm, meal planning, I have to do something about that. Good for you for forging on with it. Its amazing how it makes money just appear sometimes - I don't mealplan yet, but I have cut down the amount of money I spend at the supermarket to a quarter of what it was ... maybe I can do more. Mealplanning ahoy.
