Bredgehogs are homemade bread rolls in hedgehog shapes :) Even put raisin eyes on them tonight, lots of raisins in DD's tummy and eventually 2 each on the hogs. They're a new tradition in our house.
  • I love silly family traditions.

We didn't have any in ours when I was little- we kinda dragged ourselves up. My mother never got up - never quite understood it - being the oldest I dragged the rest of us up.

However things are different here - we have loads of traditions all made up by us. Our loveliest one is now 'anything you want for breakfast on sunday as long as you get it yourself'

Its awesome DD usually has ice-cream or pasta
DS has crisps - or cake or anything he fancies

Its just lovely - later on sunday's I always bake so they never really starve but they do have fun and their freidns love it too xxx

No worries - he's so random

Doesnt want to be here much

Still sulking from my leaving after 3 years of him procrastinating

Dumped me then came back up to visit all sullky

Now is up about once a month - woe betide me if i ask for him to come any more regularily

And is spectacularily sulking because we now live in a beautiful house, we are comfortable and we now have the beast

    Men are very very odd.

No they're like children! And that is so typical of men, cant get what they want so they sulk, maybe thats why im not bothered about being single.

Men frequently like to be the big protectors don't they, they often don't like the thought of feisty independent gals who don't NEED them but want them, such a huge difference.....

Did you go on the beach today? We might be squeezing DD's bike into the boot tomorrow for another seafront ride, together with "bredgehog" picnic, made them tonight in eager anticipation :)

    That is so true kitti

trouble is of course mostly I don't feel very fiesty or independant.

You two seem to have hit the nail on the head.

He's away on his bike today with his pals.

    Comical really x x

I think we should send him on a poetry reading evening, no booze, just tepid tea and lots of intense librarian type people - no insult to librarians intended ;)

    ...and take away his emoticons....

I like the libary , poetry sometimes, (visions of piq dressed this week as a stern libraian ;) :j :j :D  ), I like tea,

but please dont take away my emotions ,

Bloody men are like bloody buses
You wait for about a year
And as soon as one approaches your stop
    Two or three others appear.
You look at them flashing their indicators,
    Offering you a ride.
You're trying to read the destinations,
You haven't much time to decide.
If you make a mistake, there is no turning back.
Jump off, and you'll stand there and gaze
While the cars and the taxis and lorries go by
And the minutes, the hours, the days.
