  • Gah to cancelled flights and nasty weather. Ours turned really nasty at about 4pm but thankfully we closed up the office early so we could all get off home - still took me over 2 hours though, and OH who left his work at 5pm is still on his way home now! Roads round here are just gridlocked - and no sign of any gritters either.

Any news on your OH's arrival then Fay?

  • hey.....just realised not been on your diary in ages!! Hope OH has finally made it up to you. Just crappy here....not seen snow like this since I was a kid.

Tesco story made me smile as done a very similar thing myself! We too live at top of hill with tesco at bottom and my wee Ka couldnt make it up there either and I too had to abandon it. Luckily not too much shopping though and made it up every day since. They havent put any grit down on my road yet :( Hopefully you can get sorted to visit up north!!

Well must go do some work, last full day for over 2 weeks !!! Woo Hoo!!

  • Hello everybody and Merry Xmas!:rudolf:
I know it's a bit early but I'm a bit disorganised so thought I'd better say it while I had the chance!
Very ice here, though thankfully we seem to have avoided the gridlock that's hit all around. Even getting out of our drive was tricky though - my feet were sliding back down just standing there!

Hope you all manage to stay warm and not have to go anywhere much while the weather is still so wintry.

It looked festive last night, now it's black slush everywhere, absolutely disgusting. Going to be a positively balmy Xmas day at 6 degrees....might have to borrow your bikini :D
