I think to be honest I am coming to the conclusion that I am about to give up my PhD - but not use to walking away from something - but I refuse to kill myself about it - and am beginning to wonder the merits of trying to work all the time if I am not actualy hitting the mark I need to be at.
Whatever happens I will still write up the willow stuff and then slowly walk away - just need to extract myself in a suitably appropriate manner
Telling my supervisor to shove his thesarus up his posterior probably isnt the way forward.

Always happens to me too - I think take it as a compliment for being individual & not following the herd.
Mind you, I never describe myself as ordinary either@ LBM = £15,872.65, now £10,819.82AF Jan = 7/? Feb = 5/14 Mar = 14/20 Apr = 6/14 May = 2/14 June 2/14 July 0/TF Aug 1/TFv Sept 6/TF Oct 4/7"NEVER DOUBT YOUR OWN QUALITY"0
