i got some halogen bulbs from teso last week - i think they are 60watt not quite as low energy as the regular low energy ones , but they give of a much nicer light and more of it , can't remember who made them0

Don't buy 11w bulbs, they aren't bright enough for most applications.
Buy the 20w (eq. 100w) bulbs, and they will be fine.0 -

I use these, because the quality of light energy savers give off is awful.
They are made by GE, and look like car headlight bulbs in normal bulb shape.
100w = 75w, instead of 20w with full energy saving, but the light quality is far better.0 -

They are the same fitting. I tried some of them, they were 1W ones I think, not very bright at all and a bluish light. For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple and wrong.0
