I think your benefits situation is too complex to be answered on here and it is actually getting in the way of what you really seem to want/need iyswim?

From memory I thought you said there was no domestic violence. I dont doubt that there are links between domestic violence and PTSD, but as you said it was emotional abuse I could not see the connection.

Like others I think this thread should be moved or closed as it has gone beyond what this forum is for.
