    If they live seperately but there is financial support then it could possible be taken as other income, depending on what the money is for, if its a formal arrangement and so on.

    I think that we may be discussing different points. In the case of someone staying over 3 nights a week I'm sure you're right. However, even in this day and age, people can have emotional relationships that don't involve staying over and it was in the case of these relationships (referred to by me as "dating") I can't see how this would affect benefits.
