Hi
I was just wondering if anyone knows the answer to this.
I am a full time student, i get part housing benifit and my council tax exemption.
I have a new partner, at the moment he is not staying over just visiting. If he does stay over how mant nights is he allowed to stay before it effects my housing ben and council tax?
Thanks
M

There are no amount of nights stipulated for benefit purposes and each case is looked at individually.0

I'm assuming that you're a lone parent; you didn't say.0

...and I suspect if you ask them where they heard it, the answer will be the same as yours...
"Part P" is not, and has never been, an accredited electrical qualification. It is a Building Regulation. No one can be "Part P qualified."

This is wrong and bad advice.
Each circumstance is different and they look at whether you are couple. A couple can be living together or not, the link is financial, not where each person sleeps.
