Blimey, it all went on today didn't it?We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
Not really. Very dull.
You didn't miss anything, believe me.0 -

Sorry that you were dragged into all this "carolt show" crap, OMcD. Basically carolt was having a row with somebody (no change there then) and dragged me into it by saying I had a history of sending sex PM's:
"Has DD been sending MORE saucy PM's?"
And then went on to say:
"He wants to be careful - he's already told us about some PM's he sent, above."
By this she is referring to the nice exchange we had where you mentioned you knew my name, and I mentioned that you knew it because we exchanged PMs about our kids.
"Dear dear, who would have thought it.
Still, better saucy, than threatening, to return hurriedly to the subject of this thread."
By remarking on our PMs, she is obviously trying to link her accusation that I have sent sex PMs to women with the (true) fact that I sent PM's to you (a woman). She then went on to use one of her other log-ons to insinuate that I had also sent sex PMs to that person in order to underline her sad little fantasy.
Basically, she was having an argument with chucky and decided to drag me into it by insunuating that our chat about our kids also contained sex stuff.
She is obviously backtracking now that she's realised that instead of making me look like some sort of PM sex pest, she actually made herself look like a right sleazeball.
Here is her post and my response: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html?p=18616771&postcount=461
Again, I'm as sorry that you were dragged into all that as I am sorry that I was. As I have said in this thread before, I'm getting really tired of the 'Carolt Show" and the sad way she drags third-parties into her little arguments in order to make it look like she is the innocent party and that she is the one being ganged up against.
That it works time and time again is testament to the master manipulative skills of carolt and the lack of sense of some other posters (I'm looking at Pobby here). Rest assured though that I will not be dragged into her crap again. She will have to continue the "carolt show" without assistance from me. Sad attention seeker that she is.
Anyway, getting back on topic. NDG I hope you're happy with either your new (anonymous) username or even better with your busy life outside MSE. Good luck mate - I'm seriously thinking of joining you!!Mortgage Free in 3 Years (Apr 2007 / Currently / Δ Difference)

I hope your next saucy pm will be better than the last tomato and brown one.
Btw some people had a bit of a sense of humour reduction operation today by the looks of things. Chill.Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0 -
This is all a load of bull.
Really can't be bothered with all the crap.
I'msure OldMcDonald is sufficiently aware of DD's form where I'm concerned to know it's all pants. She was never referred to by me in any of this - the only one who's mentioned her has been DD.
Night night DD.
Oh - and do get a life, and stop trying to drag other posters into your tawdry attempts at one-upmanship.
No-one cares.0 -
Ok, I have had a little too much wine now, so I will lurk for the rest of the night rather than have to delete several crappy drunken posts tomorrow.
Have fun argueing tonight, guys:D

Well that's a nice work of fiction you've written there.
You seem to have missed the bit where it's the 'inaccurate rockets' that are fired in the direction of civilians, and the 'warriors' on the Palestinian side who herd civilians into their military bases, or take over civilian buildings to use as launchpads, so that Israel has no choice but to either not fight back (which they regularly do for months until they snap, but that goes unreported in the media, so all anyone in the UK sees is "Israel attacks", not the months and months of violence beforehand) or else fight back and risk killing civilians as well as soldiers. In the most recent conflict, Hamas began the attacks, Hamas declared the ceasefire over, and Hamas were widely blamed by the sane of the world (including the Egyptian foreign minister) for the ensuing disaster.
Oh and phosphorus is used to light areas up at night for better targeting, usually exploded in the air. I'd rather someone aimed it randomly near my flat than a Qassam rocket, actually.
Now you're collecting aid for the victims (on the Arab side) of the war. But is that aid getting through, and if not, who is stopping it? Turns out Hamas and the UN can't sort it out between them, even when Big Bad Israel isn't involved. http://www.asianews.it/index.php?l=en&art=14423
And no, I won't be registering under a spare fake username to post this like you think people should, what a bizarre idea. The apologists for terrorism don't do it, I've no idea why those supporting a democracy surrounded by enemies on all side should do so.
Not that this is even germane, NDG rarely if ever said much about Israel/Palestine, so I don't know why this bee is suddenly in everyone's bonnets.Hurrah, now I have more thankings than postings, cheers everyone!0 -
This whole thread has become a load of rubbish but it's funny and marginally better than watching Eastenders.
About time it was locked now, or moved to The Arms, if it has to go on. The board's been broadened, but this goes too far. How about back to 'House Prices, Economy & Recession?'0 -

Only marginally? Thats pretty dire.
Ooops, supposed to be lurking. Hic0 -
I thought 50-odd posts for this topic was pretty flattering, then it turned the century and it was still relatively on-topic.
Now it's been expanded by about 300-odd postings of worthless dirge - where are the board guides to shift this to a more appropriate place?
A couple of non-related threads got moved a few days ago, but seemingly quite happy to let this well-intentioned OP drift to the point of complete irrelevance to the original intention???0
