OK, I've looked a bit more into this - I didn't know that NDG had used the same ID on about five different fora! I am only guessing, and I didn't see the PM when (apparently) NDG reproduced it on this forum, but I think that if you are going to be an apologist for Israel's policy towards the Palestinians you should not do so with your usual ID, and after having already disclosed lots of information about your family and your life. Although I am a Christian Middle-England Brit, it enrages me to read a post in which Palestinian child suicide bombers and home-made, inaccurate rockets are portrayed in some mad way as more heinous than Israel's use of phosphorous and Dime bombs upon defenceless civilian populations who cannot escape because the same Israel has blockaded Gaza for the past 18 months.

Or it might have been something more banal. Some of my family have nice houses in the country but I wouldn't dream of putting pictures of them on the web anywhere. When I go to stay with my brother and his family, intellectual Trollopian conversation at breakfast has been known to happen, but it would never occur to me to recount it on a web forum. Given that a lot of people on MSE are digging their way out of pretty desperate situations, it probably isn't the best place to write about how together and comfortable and privileged you are. I must say, I don't understand this generation that seems to need by way of validating its existence a daily fix of reading about itself on the web.

This is a bit sad. I feel very alienated by what I have discovered. I doubt that NDG's social circle and mine will overlap much. I socialise with Palestinians and Iraqis, and together with two Arabs I have set up a charity to help Arab families whose lives have been destroyed by US military adventures and US-supplied bombs and other weapons.

With reference to sticking up for carolt, I am sure she doesn`t need that form me! Yes I did make comments recently in the way that people were attacking her. I don`t find sexist comments to be at all acceptable including your own, DD, suggesting that the lady in question should use hrt! That would imply that you have stereotyped her into someone that is " going through the change " and therefore is bad tempered. A little below the belt in my book sir!
