I tell you what it made me F'ing  when Carol made out I was blaming NDG and saying it was like the "short skirt" excuse.

I think if their is going to be new poster on this forum(some maybe like NDG) they need to know what happened and how some one used the information she had sared to really freak her out.:(

That and taking the P!ss that my spelling is poor, she knows I am dyslexic. I had teachers not accepting it when I was at school and it is a shame to know some are still like it.
At least any one who has it knows they can still achive your goals no matter how much the people knock your trying.:)

I actually have more respect for you than 90% of the posters on here. You stand your ground, you'd be a good man to have in the trenches. Mewbie is of course my fave and i just love pastures new but you are up there with the best.;)
  • Do I know you?
    Not personaly
What I mean is do you frequent these boards maybe using an alternative user name?
    Doesnt everyone!:p
Also less of the old !!
    Sorry:rotfl:

I agree with your post except for this peice - i'm not selective quoting :)

you've mentioned 3 posters who have "extreme" views - you haven't mentioned a other posters who also have opposed "extreme" views who also get it sometimes and maybe unfairly too.

as for NDG - "I don't know"
That's cos they're the ones that came to mind. first. I only get on here at night (occasionally in the day for 10 mins if I have a break) and only sift through the threads for the stuff I am interested in so don't read everything.

Some debates don't really 'get me going', so I don't read them....but I know they can get heated. I avoid the politics ones completely
Some user names I am familiar with but don't really connect to them, so they aren't stuck in my memory for any reason.

I know what you are getting at, but I can't be sitting here listing who defends/attacks which view...because I can't remember half the time.

And why am I using up brain time to try and explain something I can't work out how to explain plus I've forgotton what I was trying to explain in the first place. We do need NDG back.

Don't want to argue with anyone tonight as I have had a totally $hi7 day.
    So apologies.....:o

Thanks for the post chucky. No I don`t think that disagreeing or indeed responding to carolts posts is wrong. What I object to is the personal comments that have been said about her.

For example "carolt, try HRT and give us all a break for Christ sakes!" From DD. I find that offensive. Just one example. Over the months there have been other remarks aimed at carol and the posters firing jibes re pmt and other, I feel, sexist comments. Sorry if that strikes you as being old fashioned.

Just how bloody old are you?

    Jesus Christ!!!

Gosh literally can't pay with cash - pay with your ars3

Sorry folks, NeverDespairGirl tried to fight her hidden debts ... but she is still recovering from the loan shark attack!

I agree but in a world of equality it should work both ways.
This was a reply by carol to a post I did saying my shoping went down the last couple of months (I do all my shoping on line for our family and I am a man)

I can tell your post is written by someone who doesn't do the bulk of the food shopping. As the one who does do the food shopping for our family (and who happens to have an extremely good if otherwise useless memory for numbers),.

Sorry I find that sexist, she presumed because I am a man I do not actualy paticipate in the running of our household.
Instead that I sit around posting stuff I make up while scratching my ball and smacking my wife over the head with a club and live in a cave.
