How did you apply? If it was over the phone or in branch and an advisor has put this on without your knowledge you can get it removed even if it's after the 14 day cancellation. Why should you have to pay for someone elses mistake or attempt to get points?suggarcookie wrote: »Thanks for all your help I will ring the bank 2moz, if it is an Advantage Blue account though I think it's going to be to late to cancel now, I will try though.
Thanks!!

You didn't ask for it so you can cancel and do not let them tell you otherwise.... mis-selling act is there to protect you against this type of sales technique..... just quote the missale of goods act or misselling act to them! Some say he is a racist, others say he is a liar but the truth will always prevail...

I opened it online but I didn't see anything about a blue advantage as far as I was concerned I was opening a STEP account. I will do as you say and hopefully it will be sorted out. Thank you both of you!!0

There was a page after you chose step where you would have had to pick from 'mobile phone insurance', 'car breakdown' or 'no advantage blue'. You may have accidentally picked one of the 2 above options in which case you put advantage blue onto your account.Kavanne
