did a search, but it won't work for me, so, sorry if this has already been posted!
Hope this will save people some time! I have been searching for a while for a BB provider 2Mbps uncapped (currently paying BT £17.99/month) and came across good deals only to find they do not service my area.
then I found this!
And it lists all the providers that service my area (by postcode). I am not sure if it is an affiliate site, cos the links do not show up in full, so just use it for info!
also, does anyone know if this provides a full list of BB providers or just the big guys?

At least you know the real answer,
dont forget to check back about every 3mths.0 -
Telewest & NTL have merged IIRC, but you still have to go to the appropriate company to check availability. If you check on their own site directly, but the other cable co is avilable then it will re-direct you. If neither cable co is available, it'll re-direct you to Virgin.net's ADSL service.
As for the checker, I think they must get a cut of any sign-up's as they are only including a small number of ISPs. You're quite often better off going direct to the ISP's directly if you want to find out if they supply more than 2Mbps. Take a look at this post for the ISP's currently offering 8Mbps - 24Mbps.0 -
The information provided by this site is so wrong it is beyond a joke.
It tells me I can get cable when I know for sure that there are no cables in my street at all (and none planned in the near future).
It tells me that I can get broadband from 8 companies (none of which I would touch with a barge pole). It misses out the other 100+ companies that I know I could sign with (including my own ISP I'm connected with now).
This site seems to be a lame attempt to get people to use their own affiliate links to sign up for woefully inadequate services. I would not trust the info from this site at all. They are promoting their own moneymaking links.
If anyone wants TOTALLY unbiased (and up to date) info about broadband access in the UK. The best comparison site is https://www.adslguide.orgHow many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

I have removed the link from Ally's post as she (and others) correctly realised it is an affiliate site and the site owner would get an affiliate fee should anyone click through to join the ISP of their choice.
