Me Vs the Ebay scammer!

Fantastic - well done!
A few years back now I bought a DVD off Ebay and it never turned up. Contacted them several times and always the same old excuse so asked for refund (a bit difficult as it was a cheque payment) which did not arrive. I contacted the police, showed them all my correspondence and they passed it to the account holders local police. Turned out that it was a lad decided to hijack his dad's ebay account, apparently he was terrified out of his wits when he got home from school to find the police waiting for him! The police reported to back to me that the parents had dealt with him firmly (to say the least) and he would be sending me a written apology and a refund cheque, which I received a few days later. They said the parents appeared to be good people capable of dealing with this in an appropriate manner so I was happy to leave it at that (apparently the parents were glad it was brought to their attention, as would I have been!).
I like to think that by going to the police I paid a small part in keeping this lad on the straight and narrow! What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare1 -

Obviously he doesn't know that policement aren't allowed other jobs or to run their own business.
However it wouldn't suprise me if his brother or him do actually work for royal mail so they can collect their illgotten gains easily
p.s. you could have warned him about dropping the soap0 -
