oooooooh, don't know bookie - I think it was because it had to be stored in the fridge, only had a couple of days shelf life and had lots of bits of orange in it. I'm guessing it was.

(and didn't give me the runs like fresh does). TMI.
Ours was more like a good made up cordial. I used to love it :cool:Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

i've still got humphrie tea towels here, my dad was a milkman. Actually he found a baby on the depot doorstep, and when he was named at the hospital they gave him Humphrie as a middle name, Never did know what happened to the baby0

well, I just do
1 onion 1 carrot
1 stick celery
garlic
chop (I stick mine in a mini processor)
Fry off
Add mince and brown
Add dried mixed herbs, couple of bovril cubes, teaspoon of smoked paprika, chilli powder and a squirt of tomato puree. Give it a stir
Add kidney beans (or whichever you fancy - borlotti, cannelini), a tin of tomatoes and a tin of baked beans.
To be honest, you can chuck whatever you want in it! I find that baked beans take the slight harshness of the chilli powder and the acidity of the tinned tomatoes away."Stay Wonky":D

My Dad never found anything as exciting as a baby..........his normal trick was to leap the little garden walls to save going up and down the paths.......he stopped doing that the day he tripped and fell on the milk and cut his hand open really badly.....
oooh, and 1 day when I was about 17, we were going somewhere for a day trip..........can't remember where, so I said I'd help him on the round. He went round a corner and had stacked the milk high so he didn't have to go home to get the rest (the dairy drop half off mid morning each day) as I was walking towards the float and a load of full crates went flying off!!!! It was very dramatic!!!"Stay Wonky":D
