I suppose one was an example of posting a pic and a comparison.
The other two were showing icing which is a concern of many on this board. It's hard to get in to take photos so I know they are poor.

Where does the melted condensation water drip out?
Onto the paving slabs/gravel underneath?
[My son has just bought a house, recently fitted with a condensing boiler in an upstairs cupboard - It has been fitted with a white plastic condensate overflow pipe going into the gutter of the down stairs bay window.
Interesting wet rot was occurring. It turned out that the boiler (like the tank of a gents urinal) saved up the condensate until a syphon flushed it all out in a rush - overloading the shallow gutter and thus soaking the wood underneath - I guess this is a cure for all those condensing boilers with iced up condensate pipes 2 - 3 years ago]0 -

Onto the slabs/gravel below. If there was no gravel below it could have had a tray connected to a nearby rainwater pipe. In practice though very little drips out from it.0 -

If you have a UK supply, then no reason why it could not cope.
Depending on the start up current, this can introduce flicker onto local networks, the DNO would be quite within their rights to ask you to uprate your supply or remove your HSP.
better to check before installation, at no cost than have problems down the line.0 -

Got down to -4 ambient last night. Our Ecodan 8.5kw kept the house perfectly warm.
Ive just started reading all the settings to see if there are any tweeks we can make. Ive reduced the HW temp to 55degc from 60.
The defrost setting of 15 degc, is that about right ?
Eco temp set at 38 deg c at 5 ambient and 45 degc at -5. Any other settings it is recommended to tweak to improve performance.0 -
Running costs so far....
I've just had my electric bill in for the period 6th June to 6th December - it makes interesting reading (for me, at least!). During that period I've had to take the following into account:
* My first summer with solar PV (3KW system)
* 8.5KW Ecodan fitted on 18th August
* Ecodan doing all HW and heating instead of immersion heater and LPG
* Solar thermal also offsets HW, but that was in last year as well
Up to 6th June, I was paying £80 per month for electric and was £150 in credit. To 6th December, I'm now £180 in credit. So in that 6 months, my electric payments have stayed the same, but I've saved 6 months of LPG payments at £120 per month (£720).
That's encouraging - obviously the next 6 months will be more telling; less solar PV and more heating cost. I'll have to wait 6 months for the next exciting installment.
Interesting to read Nande's post - I don't actually know what my settings are or how to change them, but would be equally keen to know if there is a sweet-spot set up that we need to aim for.
I can also testify to -5º outside with lashings of hot water and warm rads inside.
Cheers,

Suggest DHW to 50c, that's what we do with boost to 60c [uses immersion to achieve 60c] every 15 DHW cycles. When the Ecodan was delivered the FCT2 controller was set to boost DHW to 60c every DHW cycle. However as you have the Immersun you are likely to be boosting to 60c differently.
Our flow temps are 35c @ +15c to 45c @ -3c.0 -

Thanks for posting, all very interesting. Did you have or are you still on E7? It's a great feeling to get rid of the LPG eh? Tho in saying that we still have our bulk tank but is only connected to the hob to run it down, slowly....
Settings are not over complicated but if running costs/performance is fine best leave well alone. The installer may have noted the settings down for you which would be interesting to see?
