Debts chasing you?

I had a lot of debts until about a month ago.
I moved address but am not on the electoral roll yet but none of my debts have followed me purely because i haven't let them know my new address, by all means i am still paying them what i can but my credit rating now says that my score is 737 out of 1000.
So does that mean they won't effect me any more?
Thanks,
Andy

Right up to the point you apply for credit somewhere and either tell them you previous address, in which case all your history will appear, or lie that you've lived at the current address longer than you have, which would get marked as fraud if they find out.
In the long run you are doing yourself no favours at all.0 -
When applying for your credit score, did it not ask you your previous address? If you typed in your old address then it will have created a link to your current address and if you stop paying they can then trace you through this.0

do you have a car?..you will have to change address on log book to get tax disc etc..they will easily catch up with you via DVLA too.TO FINISH LAST, FIRST YOU HAVE TO FINISH....0

I do have a car yes. How can they do that? Data Protection Act?
If i go onto the electoral roll at my new address, will they be able to search for me through that?

I'm a little unsure about the DVLA thing.
But We moved recently and they can track you down, if you tell your bank, Credit card company or anything like that you have moved they will put a link on your credit file, it will appear in your linked addresses and if a DCA does a search on you through your credit file they will see the link and start chasing you there.

You still have these debts, they are associated with you, not an address. So does that mean they won't effect me any more?
A financial association will be created between your old address and your new address when you tell your credit card, loan company etc. of your new location.
If you are having problems repaying, I suggest you look at the Debt Free Wannabe forum as it has alot of useful information and support.0 -
You might drop off the electoral roll at the earlier address within a year. Then what?...............................I have put my clock back....... Kcolc ym0

These debts will follow you around for at least the next 6 years, everytime you apply for anything credit based (inc car insurance if paid monthly) they will know exactly where you are.
Why are you trying not to pay them? Are you struggling with the repayments?0
