Child Tax Credit 2002/03 - Have you heard?

Just wondering how many people have heard back regarding a claim for 2002/03. If you have heard when did you claim & if you want to tell did you get a cheque.

Just been searching for responses & it is like working for a needle in a haystack.

I received a cheque on Saturday for the full amount plus interest. Now, I am trying to find out if the same is going to occur for the 2003/04 tax year as I didn't know I was eligible back then.

I claimed three weeks ago, haven't heard anything yet! I just rang the Tax Office and they said that there is no way of checking if they have even received my claim! The bloke said that they are working through claims as quickly as possible, but I would like to know how long its likely to take too!

I am pretty sure 2002/03 was the last year of this allowance, after that it became child tax credit.

I applied just over three weeks ago and was fortunate enough to recieve a cheque for just over £600 this morning :T

I applied the first week of January and received a cheque for £591 last Friday.

Yes, all claims had to have been received by 31st Jan.

Haven't received or heard anything yet apart from the claims form that came in this mornings post that i asked them to send out on Jan 15th.
Nearly a whole month to send the form out, Shocking :mad: (And conveniently past the deadline of Jan 31st)

Just aswell i printed it off from there website and sent it to them about the same time.
