Did anyone see Gordon ramsay the other night-the restaurant using pre packed lamb shanks and charging £12 for them?

they are already pre cooked i think,so you don't need to..I think..
    Just "nuke" 'em
  • We had these last week, they are quite nice but found the gravy a bit too sweet..parents said they would'nt buy this again.
  • I have just bought some for tea tonight, which way of cooking them is the best? It says you can microwave, boil or oven cook. If I cook them in the oven it will take 1hr and 20 min but microwave is about 10min so do they taste ok if cooked in micro?

    Thanks lts

Yes, I saw that episode of Kitchen Nightmares - must say it put me off these Aldi ones a bit, even though I can't stand the man. And I love a good lamb shank - just ask the wife!

It must have put quite a few people off - there were loads of both types left in two local Aldis I went into yesterday, which also had a duck breast and rack of lamb on offer in the same freezer compartment.

Have all these animals died in vain?

  • I got half today, the last pack left and only one inside i did get discount , is it pre cooked mine is like raw meat colour, or something esle in this pack??
