Lamb shanks special offer at Aldi

Aldi's lamb shanks which have gradually increased in price to the current price of £4.99 per box of two, are, for a short time, £1 cheaper. Don't take notice of the current brochure price, in store while stocks last, they are £3.99.
Those I refer to are with rosemary & tyme and the gravy is to die for.

I love lamb, I love goat too, however goat is thin on the ground, is this due to the time of year?

Anyway -yet AGAIN -this is not in all Aldi stores !!!!!
My sister in Wales went in to her local one today and not on there , also not on in Nottinghamshire stores !

I have eaten goat in Africa and It's not Baaaaahed at all being tender less fatty than a lot of meat and has a good flavor.
I did not know you could get it in the UK will have to a search online.

I love Lamb Shanks but it is too expensive for me.
The ones that Farmfoods had at £1.50 were nice.

Goat is a lovely lean, tender and tasty meat, I am not Muslim, it is sold locally, but recently has been thin on the ground, this could simply be because it is British sourced goat I have been buying. It has also been half the price of lamb.
