Purchase an item from the US and now have a customs charge

    I think that whilst the seller should not have to pay, I feel they have some responsibility to warn of customs charges in the listing so no one gets any nasty surprises when they recieve the item.

    Why? How does a seller know what sort of charges might be incurred in the hundreds of countries he might ship to. Much better for buyers to know which countries we are liable to 'extras' from and which we are not.
