Thanks for all the responses guys :-)

Something just popped into my mind though. He sent me the payment and told me to collect it at a WU office. An i thought how? Do i have to have a reference code? or membership? He has put all his emphasis on me taking his money without explaining how to get it?? Possibly a simple explanation - over to you guys.

Anyway, i gave him the strike as recommended by Ebay for the unpaid item. He then went quiet for a bit but has now replied on his 'item not received' claim. I'll copy in the message but you'd best to run it through an online translator. But I'm not quite sure what it translates to but he seems upbeat about everything now lol.

    Hallo, Jeff Leboswki!
Was können wir machen, den Fall zu lösen, bitte schreiben Sie Mir Ihre Vorsclage!Aber
zuerst Sie müssen die Verwarnung löschen!
Ich bin sehr geduldig, aber alles hat eine Grenze.Ich habe
gekauft,Ich habe zeitig bezahlt,Sie Sind dran!
    Doctor Evil

Please note that i changed both our names :-)

I just hope that if i get some kind of strike/investigation by Ebay after this case they will see that he has stated in his claim that he paid via WU which isnt mentioned as one of my preffered methods of payments and Ebay see the sense given the whole 'click buy now and you enter a legal binding agreement' type thing and see that i havent broke any agreements and nothing happens against my account.

I'll keep you updated anyway :-)

Oh dear. We had a similar situation with an American who believed that dollars are accepted all around the world. Despite being told that all international bidders must use PayPal she sent us an american money order in dollars. After being told that we had no way of paying it in she sent actual dollar notes through uninsured post. We sent them back through the same method. She then took umbridge and left us negative feedback.

If you were clear about the methods you take and this buyer chose to ignore that - incidentally what method did they say they were using at checkout? - then I don't see why you should be going to WU offices asking them if they have a payment for you and you don't appear to have a way to send the money back as they request (as you don't have access to it).

Hungary is listed on PayPal's country list but only 'Send and receive payments in these countries. Withdraw from your PayPal account to your in-country bank account or to a U.S. bank account.'

This really sounds like a scam.

He emailed me (actually come to think of it im certain i told him before he actually committed to buying it that i didnt accept WU. I'm not 100% about that but the more i think back...) and i told him immediately i dont accept it. He has hounded since me over it. Its simple, if i accept it as a payment, my listing would reflect it. Nobody should be put under pressure to do anything they dont want to do in their own business!

    Indeed.

All of us powersellers are capitalisic, egotistical, greedy, baby-eating, daughter-deflowering nasty peices of work who will burn your house down if you don't pay us instantly....

Glad you agree Steve, but are you getting 200 plus negative feedback remarks against you each month?

    :p
