Phones4U - good deal or not??
I came across this deal, is it a good deal and a good phone? Sorry to be thick, but I don't change my phone that often and am not as mobile-savvy as you lovely people.
Any advice welcome. Thanks.

Well, the phone is a clearance model so obviously about to be updated, but I am not familiar with that model to comment on the phone too much.
If you were to purchase that exact same plan (Dolphin 30) via the Orange website it would be £25 insted of Phones4U £30 and you would get a better range of phones, don't be fooled however by Orange giving you unlimited texts, because that is subject to a fair useage of 3000 texts, which Phones 4 U just makes clearer.
The question I would be asking myself however, is if you don't change your plan that often, and don't seem to be as up on mobiles - which you admit yourself, why do you need a plan with so many minutes and texts? Could you not look into a Simplicity or Sim only plan and keep your current phone? O2 and Vodafone offer these options0 -
Its available on a 12 month deal at mobiles.co.uk on dolphin or racoon £30 a month plus 9 months by casback making it about £7 per month plus i think £40 quidco. Plus other cheaper deals with other networks use the web site below to compare the best deals i just used it to find my phone deal

Well, I actually do use a lot of voice minutes, 300 +100 texts is roughly what I need. And my current phone has almost given up.
Perhaps I should have said that I'm not as savvy with mobile deals, rather than the phones themselves!
The Phones4u deal is with £270 cashback, which is paid automatically 28 days after you connect IIRC, so no faffing around with deadlines etc. And this makes the deal effectively worth £15 a month. What do you reckon??0 -
