wtd; best payg to buy as a present

Hi, i want to buy a payg phone for daughter as a christmas present (could anyone who wants to enter a discussion re don't buy a phone spend time with her or similar please start their own thread....); simple is fine, no camera is fine, don't mind getting the phone separate from the SIM card; last year i found a couple of places giving phones away free with other purchases and deals like that. she will be a v. v. low usage user anyway, so i'm not that concerned about what network; just looking for the best deal on buying the actual phone; searching this and "buy it quick" boards showing nothing much at the moment, any suggestions anyone please? thanks

There's also the Nokia 3410 for £29.99 - at Phones4u.

https://www.forwardcellular.com have a selection of PAYG phones (mostly showing as out of stock at present).
Difficult to advise - since you don't mention price - but from your reference to free phones I presume cheap is better.

One final suggestion - get a Nokia 3100 (Which best buy on basic phones Dec 2004) for £36 through ForwardCellular. Not a PAYG deal but will probably work out cheaper - you get 100 mins each month for free - you need to pay £241.50 up front then get this back in month 2.
