Why get hysterical about a name 'coming back'? You werent using them. It went because at the end of the day, along with bad management it wasnt doing the trade and you could get most things elsewhere.
It is time to move on, any use of name on the internet will be just token.0 -

Well, I am pleased that Ladybird Clothing is coming back. Yes, you can buy Kids clothes in Tesco, but I for one am not keen on much of it (especially Boys things).

I hated woolies, they were over priced even in their closing sales. Sad for the job losses but not for my shopping. It only takes a second to say 'Thanks, you just saved me a few quid!'

Its not great news,i loved and used Woolies when it was open but i think s02006 and blue_monkey are right, shop direct will hike up prices and sell products in the same way as Kays etc.
I wont be buying from them even if i do like the product simply because its going to be expensive-people were better off using Woolies as it stood before but not enough people did.0 -

Shop direct might change designs/quality etc and they will stick the ladybird logo on itIts business.
And they will offer credit, It is Shop direct! They make there money from hiking up prices and offering credit, that is why they where soo successfully in changing from stores to an online store. Look at Freemans and Grattan they are loosing money, because there prices are actually quite decent!0 -

But Asda and Tesco are cheap in respect of clothing-i buy a lot of clothes from there especially the kids because its nice and its cheap too.
Its the price of food that annoys me,thats how they seem to make up for it by hiking up their food prices at a ridiculous amount and sometimes overnight :mad:0 -

so would you rather tesco not rise they're prices but take a hit on they're profits and cut back on lines to save money and stop offering services like credit cards, mobile phone plansNo Links in Signature by site rules - MSE Forum Team 20 -
