EFH/186 Contact Number

I've migrated from EFH and sent them an email to confirm it, but apart from an automated reply, there has been no answer. I've been paying monthly by credit card and would like to contact them to make sure my credit card won't be debited again, but I can't.

Neither of their fax numbers answer
08449910011 - invalid number
08081564775/6 - unanswered
08701-222-186 - our lines are very busy etc. etc.

Does anyone have a phone number for EFH or 186 that is answered?

Thank you

I'm in the same boat. Have given up on phoning. Also haven't had a reply to an email or emailed chasers for over a week. If I don't hear back in the next couple of days it will be a recorded delivery letter to their Registered Office and a cancellation of the Credit Card set up from my end (assuming I can), then they can go whistle for it.

As far as I know they would have to cancel the continuous credit agreement, you can't cancel it yourself.

I have checked with my card provider (HSBC/Mastercard) and apparently, they (your card provider) can take steps to cancel the regular payment setup, but only after an inapproprate payment has already gone through. You write to them (with as much supporting evidence as possible (e.g. your documented, dated cancellation prefereably with the suppliers acknowledgement of cancellation/migration)) and they will contact the suppliers mercantile card services and "liaise" wth them to cancel the arrangement and recover any inappropriate payments.

Back at OP's query - i have now had a response to my email. It took 8 days (and didn't actually address the question I asked them!) but at least it's an open avenue for communication, (and it's probably better to have an auditable record anyway). I put the 0870 number into ‘saynoto0870’ and came up with 01133360746. The guy who answered said he couldn’t help me and to phone 08701-222-186. I said the number was never answered and told him what my problem was and that I was unable to contact 186 or EFH. He said he’d make enquiries and phone me back, and to my surprise he did, and then said to email support@186k.co.uk. He also said if I’d migrated, it shouldn't be a problem and I wouldn’t be charged.
