Ok done that, thanks.
I wasn't sure if an escalated claim could be stopped IF (big if) the item arrived but I see now it can be.
First time I've ever had this.Herman - MP for all!0 -
if he's sending it by courier have you asked for a consignment number so you can check if something has been sent.0

Despite what the auction page stated, his dispute answer was to say Royal Mail can take 7 working days so I dont think he's sent it via a trackable method.Herman - MP for all!0

i think seller has no legs to stand on,if he doesnt provide online tracking to paypal. You dont need to worry, you will get your money back by paypal.0

Just had an email telling me a 'batch' of this item has got lost in the mail so they have resent a replacement free. If it doesn't arrive they will give me the tracking number, but they want me to wait 7 days.
The replacement has apparently been sent out Royal Mail recorded so I've replied asking them to give me the tracking number now. I cant see any reason why they cant so if they dont, then it still looks suss.Herman - MP for all!0 -
just spotted your sig alias. a stone in less than a month -wow! you go girl! :T :T :Tknow thyselfNid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus...0

Be careful if waiting 7 days takes you over the time limit of claiming via PP. Personally, I think he's pulling a fast one, else why not give you the tracking number now? Or provide the delivery service you've paid for?It aint over til I've done singing....0

They'll probably ask you to close the dispute before giving you the tracking number. But you're not that daft! 'Not till the purchased item is in my hot little hands!' is the appropriate response...0

Update...well I'm pleased (and surprised tbh) that the item turned up this morning. It's box was battered and ripped but the item inside appears to be ok. I'm happy to admit I was wrong.
I've obviously cancelled the dispute but I'm not sure what feedback to leave him given the following?
Auction page stated 24 hour dispatch once payment received & 24 hour courier delivery. That didn't happen. Item was received 10 days later.
Didn't answer emails until a dispute was opened. (Another buyer sent several to no avail.) Told me and the other buyer our item must have got lost in the post. Seems too coincidental.
Told someone else delivery would be 7-10 days so it looks like we were never going to get the item and the lost in post thing was just an excuse.
The phone number listed with Paypal is not recognised, which obviously also raised concern.
I'm now beginning to wonder if he is a drop shipper? Perhaps that's why the items were taking longer than stated? I dont believe he had them in his possession to sell and I dont believe he had more than one of these go missing during delivery to his buyers.
Anyway, what's done is done. I've got the item now but I could have done without the hassle tbh. So advice on what feedback to leave please? I want to be fair btw. I'm not looking to give him a hard time but he definitely didn't supply the service he said he would.Herman - MP for all!0
