    Hi there

I think this may vary to be honest, as some banks are more lenient than others.
If I wasn't happy with the offer, and if there was one big difference in the money I would write back to tell them I'm not happy and as I still believe I was mis sold for the reasons I given etc, if they did not refund all what is owed or at least a more of a reasonable amount, I would defo go to the FOS.;)

Ok. Well i have done this and just waiting for a reply from the bank to see what they say!

Btw has anyone found an easier to use interest calculator yet? I have a lot of entries to enter and the one on this website is really hard to use considering i have so many to enter!

if you mean bank charges calc for 8% interest it is easy, all you have to change is date and year, that is if the payments are the same each month, it did not take me long to work out the fast way to do this. or if you dont mind put the years and amount each month and i will work it out for you, or give it a go yourself , if i can do it anyone can!!!!

  • Hi, I'm new here so forgive me if I'm in wrong place.
I sent letter one to Black Horse to reclaim PPI on 2 loans. As expected they refused and stated my fault for not reading small print on one of them but said that because I had taken out finance through car salesroom I have to go through them to reclaim.Problem is they closed about 2 years ago so do I still send letter 2 to Black Horse or just forget it?
    Many thanks
    Tom:confused:
