bit more complicated then that because you have to work out the number of days since the premium was paid - if you look at the right hand side of this forum you'll see what's called FREE TOOLS - the 6th item down is the bank charges calcuator - it's just above FUN TOOLS AND THIS SITE

Ok so this was the same tool that i used! It was under the "what interest to charge them heading" so i think that was correct. I have the correct figures which ive listed in the letter!

the distress and inconvenience is being awarded by the Financial Ombudsman Service where the claim is initially turned down but the FOS upholds it

I don't think you've worked at the 8% correctly - it's worked out on a daily rate basis - ie you have to use the calculator - look at the right had side of this site - above the stamps which say ' CONSUMER REVENGE - free from adds - at something called FREE TOOLS - the bank charges calculator is the 6th item down

Are you sure? i clicked on it...and then scrolled down to the interest calculator. It only asks me to enter the ppi amount and date started. Nothing else!

    hmmm

Do as Tiggrae said to do(see below) You want 29 individual monthly PPI payments with 29 individual dates and then 3i months as a lump sum.
Loan 2 48 individual payents with 48 individual dates:

    Tiggrae's quote:
"so what you need to do to work out the 8% interest is feed 29 monthly payments into the calculator then on the date of the loan consolidation put in the remaining 31 months as one lump sum - that should work you out the interest on loan 1 - then do the same for loan 2 - put in all 48 of the monthly premiums paid until the end of the loan"

I have recently been contacted by a PPI claimback company who have assessed that I have good grounds to get PPI back and possibly some credit card and loan balances cancelled. They have charegd a reasonable sum per card, but then the small print states that the solicitors fees are 25% of the sum recovered. This information is not up front and they lure you in and then tell you about it. Are there any cheaper deals available? Should I do it myself?
DO IT YOUR SELF!!!! you will get all the help on here for free!!!! dont give 25% of your win back to a faceless company, they cannot do anymore than you can they have to go the same route as joe bloggs its no faster and wont get you anymore money
