Hiya Marshallka
I think my subject line didn't help......if you remember we didn't know what to use, I should have used the section where it gave you the choice related to finance, but used the one for Justice instead lol, never mind, have you had the chance to have a look at amersalls? that covers it all as well.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

I m helping a lady reclaim PPI. The companies she is dealing with are well over 6 years ago. These are First National Bank for windows, Dunfermline & HFC, HBOS. Does she have a case due to the timings.thanks!
Anyone?? Thanks x
Hi Shamrock
There is no harm in trying.;)
It is more difficult if it were charges than PPI reclaiming.
Does your friend still have any paperwork? The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Hi Di,
She doesnt. Am I right in saying to send a SAR? Looks like Dunfermline taken over by Nationwide and that First National were taken over by GE Money. Just to make life more tricky! Lol x0 -
Is there any chance of MSE Martin giving out information about the petition on any of his tv/radio appearances? or could you not contact the media yourselves to let them know about what you are trying to achieve0

Hi Shamrock.;)
Yes a SAR would be a good idea.
If you want to check where they are based, still active or stopped trading, you can check on companies house here, just write in the name of the company search box.....
http://wck2.companieshouse.gov.uk/609532fc60ad2ccef1b0fae3782a6c08/wcframe?name=accessCompanyInfo
and for a SAR template letter, you will find here, remember as well to enclose £10 postal order or cheque payment, they have 40 days to comply and post as usual by recorded delivery.;)

If you only require the agreement, you could write to them to request fro a true copy of the CCA, enclose a £1 postal order or cheque payment, this should only take 12 days.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

This is actually a good idea Nat, I think the more we expand in these areas, the better and hopefully a better outcome out of it.:T;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0
