Lol, just one and put all account numbers in question on it and only one fee to £10:wave:0 -

lol, don't worry about all the questions, that's what we're here for lol...;)
Like dreamer says, its your choice if you want to request a SAR, this may be useful if you've hardly any info/documents to help your case where interesting info may come back regarding your issues here.
You can still continue to send to request a SAR while your complaint is being investigated, SAR wise its something you may be able to fall back on if needed.
Here is the page the SAR is on, and post 6 here

Underneath the SAR template there is some useful details of the SAR, of what to expect etc.
Now going back to the reclaim letter, while using Martin's template, also try to write in your own words if you can with obviously your own reasons, good luck.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Yes its normally the case that if two parties are involved they need both signatures, as they can only normally deal with the infomation based on the signature on the complaint letter. However in your case you have no choice and hopefully they will take this on for you.
Good luck molly

Can anyone help me?? When I applied for an M&S chargecard I was told by a sales assistant that the insurance would cover me, if I was sick unemployed etc. She did not go into any further detail, other than what I have stated here. I have an incurable illness which was diagnosed before I took on this charge card and from what I am reading on here, it would appear that I would not be covered by the policy. I have always made my paments although I have been very ill lately. Should I be applying to have this refunded? All replies greatly appreciated.0

Have you cancelled the insurance?0 -

I am in almost the same boat as you, I have a long term pre existing condition.
I am fighting M & S to reclaim my PPI, if I were you I would sent off for a subject access report & when you get this back apply to reclaim all of your PPI charges. Be prepared for a battle but they should pay up eventually. You can find the subject access template at the beginning of this thread & templates for reclaiming on the reclaim £1000s tab at the top of the page, adapt this to suit your circumstances.
Good luck & keep in touch.0 -
Hi
I am new here although I've been receiving the emails for a while.
I was sold a secured loan about 2.5 years ago through Loans.co.uk (I think). The loan is with Paragon. They added £10,000 or so up front to the amount of the loan, as PPI. The idea behind it is that after 10 years (when the loan is repaid) (and I'm paying £450 pm!!!) I get my £10,000. It hit me a while back that what I'm doing is basically paying interest on PPI installments and then getting the "principle" back. Dodgy.
Does anyone else know of this kind of "scheme" and in which case, any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks

Hi Shimon
If you feel that the PPI was miss-sold then you have a case to reclaim your PPI. Check on the Red tab at top of this page RECLAIM 1000 and look through the information there to see if you fit into any categories.
It will explain what to do but if you need to just come back on here and I am sure somebody will guide you.
This is a known tactic that they use and I know others on here have lots of experience with the same type of loans.;):mad:0 -
Hi Incipience I took out the agreement about 2004, although I have been in hospital many times, I have not made a claim as I could always meet my payments. I have not cancelled the insurance. I am nowhere near my limit, but thought that if I cancelled the insurance that it would limit my account. Does that made sense? I have never missed a payment, nor even late with a payment.0

Hi Guys, I haven't been on here for a while - last August infact! Which was when I was trying to claim back mis-sold PPI from FirstPlus. They fobbed me off with a couple of standard letters and eventually offered me part of the PPI back but they were going to reduce my loan instead of give me the cash which didn't have any benefit to me - it was a measly amount! I posted the letter on here and with a bit of encouragement from you guys I went to the FOS. That was August/beginning of September and I have had a couple of letters from the FOS saying they were looking into it etc. I knew when I put in the complaint to the FOS they had a 6month backlog wchich was fine but when I have contacted them this morning they said it could be several more months??!!!
Has anyone got any ideas how long these are actually taking at the moment? They said they have received all the info they requested from FisrstPlus and it is waiting to go to an adjudicator but I am pretty desperate for a result with this soon! Also I am still paying FirstPlus PPI!!!! Can I cancel this with FP as at least that will reduce my mothly payments a little? Any advice appreciated as always!
