    Hi Buffy

I hope that you manage these challenges FOR YOU. Sorry it made me quite angry for you that you felt the only way to motivate yourself to do these challenges you set is so that you can see someone who hurts you on an ongoing basis so much.

He is as toxic as your school. I would focus on say having a pamper weekend away when you pay off your debts. Or celebrating by buying a super dooper bit of kit for you fish tank or something. You have tried weaning yourself off this person , but that hasn't worked. Now you are going cold turkey and that is hard too. So leave him alone. As long as you are mooning after this person, you will be giving off the not available signals. How are you going to find Mr Right then?

Come on your are bright, intelligent, compassionate, want to help people, and you love your pupils, don't sell yourself short. You can do these things, because they will help you.

Oh and the way not to have crisps is not to buy them.......:D

    In other news

Sunflower seeds are quite a good snack food

I was on Mircrogynan for a long while and had a lot of migraines, it was only when I changed DR that he asked me why on earth I was on that particular pill cos one of the know side effects was migraines!!! I nearly lost my job due to migraines.Changed my pill, no more migraines. I was so fllipping annoyed that no other DR I had had over 20 odd years had made this connection!!!

Also as I have said before try a no chocolate month, a no red win month eg and see if you have less migraines. Red wind is my trigger. I can't even have it cooked in food...

Sorry if I have been a bit blunt luv,

    take care

I want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?
  • I love that you are blunt Chevxxxx

I was on micro wosit and got my first migraine and acne and have been stuck with both ever since (11 years now!) I don't drink red wine at all and did give up chocolate for three long months - it didn't make any difference. My triggers seem to be tiredness and stress, I must sleep otherwise its curtains for me! its been a bad week at school.

I think I wrote that I would go and see him just to get it out of my head to put an end point to the what/when questions. I know nothing will happen with him. It makes me so sad, he will always be important to me. I just want to be shot of everything, the debt, my job so I can go some where else and do something else.

But all that takes time, I must learn patience. I put myself in this mess and I WILL get out of it.

I shall think of another way to celebrate getting out of CC debt. by the time June comes hopefully I will have left him in the past

    cheers sweetie

    Love buffyxx

  • Just want to write some where -

I feel really good tonight, I went to my training at my second job and it was fab, really reminded what teaching is all about. my boss there is excellent!

Work (main job) has not changed dramatically I just have really changed my perspective AND done a lot more work in last couple of weeks

Its just a job it pays the bills!

I am getting a break from my boss, he is on a trip - don't get me wrong he is a nice guy, a good guy even, I am learning more and more that the distrust and the idea we are all crap comes from management. but it will be nice to just be for a bit without having to constantly look as if I am "doing" as well?

and then its half term. I am going in most days but it will be a REAL chance to get stuff sorted out. again without everyone asking/checking breathing down my neck.

Money is kinda interesting (as ever) got the vets bill so it must have been fate that over payement didn't go through ! (thank you God!) but Feb is a short month.

I really miss the not boyfriend have moments of panic just moments but if you love someone you set them free. so if we are meant to be together we will be. am doing ok today.

and I have a nice lunch and dinner tomorrow and cinema (rearranged) friday!

    all good,

have a fab wednesday and if you are still awake now(!) pleasant dreams

    Buffy

Seriously talk to your GP about changing pill. I am now on mercilon and no migraines for years.

Sorry for being blunt before, I just can't help it some times:rolleyes: .

Hope you manage to have a bit of me time over the half term. That is one of the hard things about here, they don't have half terms, so kids get very tired by the end of term.

Hello again, I am not on the pill any more havent been for years, mainly cos I really don't want ANY side effects.

I am SO glad it half term soon, I feel for your kids, seriously my lot at school are hanging on by their finger nails till we break up.

Tonight was a school disco - very good fun, and I did some good lessons today- using my OWN resources!!! and it was really nice to feel in control.

got coursework to mark so best be off!

    see you all later

  • Buffy your thread really touches a nerve with me. The ex thats hard to move on from, the migranes and although I dont teach I work with children. I have so many ups and downs like you but have learnt to take one day at a time, some are happy some aren't so. It sometimes feels like trudging through treakle but I keep promising myself that something is waiting round the corner for me. Head up, chest out (one part of my anotomy I really like ha ha ha) and one foot in front the other
    xx
  • thanks Water watcher, I haven't posted here for a bit and should go to bed but hey ho.

very sleepy, but have paid tescos (again!!) off and got an overpayment back from virgin (25 quid) which will go on the halifax card. And I got a late payment fee back too lovely man on the phone ( I created an on line account which unknown to me cancelled my paper statements and so I missed a payment)

and I get paid in two weeks and still have about 200 pounds left of my wages.

next month will be tight tho cos I will miss four tutoring sessions which is about 100 pounds ( got meetings at school), I will up my no spend days I think, and won't go out much!!

I am sure something is waiting round the corner

    take care

  • Morning all

Well I have read a couple of diaries this morning and am feeling all inspired!

    - Walked Wednesday
    - did exercise vid this morning
    - going to pay a cheque in today
    - been checking online banking and doing my scratchcards
    - been doing some clicking - but that is so time consuming!!
    - got the vets bill and paid it
    - must pay Avon keep forgetting!!

    current debt total = £17,465.51

credit card (includ above = 2,568.90

I was hoping to pay another 200 off but have had fish tank disaster.

Not very MSE I know but its got to be replaced however at least I am not adding to the debt and I can't really risk fixing it. mum carpet etc....

and luckily I do love doing new tanks! ;)

you know what I REALLY dont. my arms ache my hands hurt and my nails are ruined!!!!!!!:o :o:o:o It took hours and hours and I couldn't get the thing level to save my life

carpet was soaked fish all in 4 inches of water all panic stations.

Any how I got a very good deal on my new tank(90 l) , everything including heater, filter,plants(x20),fish (x12), gravel, for 202 pounds.

And a lesson to be learned well two actually 1. it pays to flirt, 2. if you can do tell people you are in debt and paying it off, the only reason why I replaced the fish tank instead of re giging the other tanks(kept fish since I was 14:o ) is cos Mum has no idea about this and it would worry her to pieces, therefore I had to replace it - carry on as normal. Its not so bad tho, beautiful tank and just in budget with lots of extras. In fact it is a really gorgeous tank!

I off to do stuff, ooo my shoulders hurt.
